Home Making Services
Light housekeeping, including dusting, vacuuming, and organizing, to maintain a clean and safe home environment.

Attending Care
Home Care Waiver Program
The Ohio Home Care Waiver Program provides support for individuals requiring long-term care, enabling them to receive services in their homes or communities rather than in institutional settings. The Home Care Based Waiver Services are available for those under 59 years old, while the PASSPORT Medicaid Home Care Waiver is for Ohio residents aged 60 and above. These are Medicaid programs, so eligibility involves completing a Medicaid application or already having Medicaid coverage. Both programs have specific requirements, including certain care needs and financial criteria.
Medicare & Medicaid
Medicare generally does not cover home care costs. However, Medicare may offer coverage for a Home Health Aide if you qualify for skilled home health services such as nursing or physical therapy. Additionally, Medicare Advantage plans (Managed Medicare) may provide broader home health services. Medicaid offers limited in-home services, typically up to 14 hours per week of home health aide support. Both Medicare and Medicaid require a physician’s certification of medical necessity for home care services, with additional eligibility criteria for each program.
